Storage:

Twinstore - The twinstore has two removable hard drive trays to provide up to a terabyte of mirrored (RAID level 1) storage for data security.

Playback:

Source:One - The Source:One has a single-ended stereo RCA-type analog audio output and a S/PDIF digital audio output that mirrors the analog output. The analog output is an audiophile quality output that is at home even in a great system. It is fanless and has no moving parts, making it completely silent.

Source:Five - The Source:Five is identical to the Source:One, but features five single-ended stereo RCA-type analog outputs and a single S/PDIF digital output.

Ensemble - provides both storage and audio playback in a single economical package, featuring a removable hard drive tray for up to a terabyte of storage and four zones of audio playback.

Control:

Control:One - The Control:One is the revolutionary touch screen interface to the Sooloos system, and provides means for you to interact with your music. It features a high-contrast 17-inch LCD display, resistive touch panel, CD mechanism for importing your music, and the breath-taking Sooloos user interface. The Control:One’s machined aluminum chassis has integrated heatsinks, eliminating fans and making it completely silent.

Control:PC - a PC-based application that offers many features for integrating Sooloos:

  • Control of the system from any PC on the network
  • MP3 export integration with portable music players
  • CD and loose file import from the PC
  • Manual backup and restore for Ensemble systems or to create offsite backups

Crestron - Sooloos offers several layers of Crestron integration:

  • Control:One will run Crestron X-Panel projects
  • Sooloos offers modules and templates for all resolutions, including legacy panels
  • The Sooloos Control:Bridge has video outs that feed video inputs on Crestron Panels that are video-enabled, to have the full Sooloos interface on Crestron Panels.

For the definitve Sooloos experience:
The industry-leading Sooloos user interface on the Control:One, separated Source components so storage can be isolated from the listening environment, and automatic backup, as well as multi-location synchronization and unlimited expansion options.

Configuration 2

Storage: Ensemble
Playback: Ensemble
Control: Control:One/Control:Bridge

With this configuration, the user still has the full Sooloos user interface on the Control:One. The Ensemble component provides both storage and playback in one chassis. Content can be backed up to a hard drive on a networked PC using Control:PC.

Configuration 3

Storage: Twinstore *
Playback: Source:One/Five
Control: Third Party, Web, PC, iPhone and/or iPod Touch Control

For the user whose focus is audio distribution and for whom the Sooloos user interface is not critical, this configuration gives automatic backup and distributed audio that can be controlled in a number of ways: Third Party touch panels, Web Browsers, the Sooloos Control:PC application, or an iPhone/iPod Touch.

Configuration 4

Storage: Ensemble
Playback: Ensemble
Control: Third Party, Web, PC, iPhone and/or iPod Touch Control

For the user whose focus is audio distribution and for whom the Sooloos user interface is not critical, this configuration gives simple manual backup and distributed audio that can be controlled in a number of ways: Third Party touch panels, Web Browsers, the Sooloos Control:PC application, or an iPhone/iPod Touch.

* For users seeking chassis redundancy in addition to data redundancy, we make the Store:One and Store:Two, which place primary and backup hard drives in separate chassis components.
